Madhuri Banerjee is the bestselling author of three books in three years – ‘Losing My Virginity And Other Dumb Ideas’, ‘Mistakes Like Love And Sex’ and ‘My Yummy Mummy Guide with Karisma Kapoor’. She is also known as a blogger of CNN-IBN and scriptwriter of Bollywood movies. She is a noted poet too. She is also a columnist with Asian Age. She is a single mother. She has one daughter. She has directed a few ad films. She wants to diversify herself to different ports and that’s why she experiments with different ideas. She believes that creativity is not a limited thing.

Madhuri has her own production house - Gray Matter Solution that makes ad films. The documentary film based on women issues, ‘Between Dualities’ has won National award for best documentary. She was only 7 or 8 when she started writing and she wrote a full book at the age of 12. A school professor asked her to write book reports and thus she began the art of writing. Students were asked to read a book every week and submit book reports for which money was rewarded. When she started earning through writing, it inspired her to continue it further.
