Madan Deodhar Biography

Madan Deodhar is a successful actor associated with Marathi cinema. Deodhar started his acting career as a child actor in the Hindi film Mahek (2007), where he played lead role. The film was produced by the Children's Film Society of India and directed by Kranti Kanade. He also played a brief role in Bollywood anthology film, Dus Kahaniyaan the same year, followed by parallel lead role in award winning Marathi film, Vihir, marking his debut. He predominantly works in Marathi films, and has been a part of Hindi and Bhojpuri films too.

 Madan Deodhar was born in Pune, Maharashtra in 1994. He marked his career as a child artist in Hindi movies, before moving to adult roles. Currently he portrays lead roles on Marathi screen. Child film Mahek marked his acting debut as a child actor in 2007, and he played a few more child and teen roles before being promoted as an adult actor in Marathi films. In 2010, he played the childhood role of actor Sharman Joshi in the Hindi film Allah Ke Banday. He played the role of a slim boy Hari in 2012 Bhojpuri film, He.

Deodhar's performance as Sameer in 2009 film Vihir was also appreciated. The movie received numerous awards at various award functions too. Alok Rajwade played the role of his friend Nachiket in this film. It was also featured in Berlin film festival and Rotterdam International Film Festival 2010, the Netherlands.

In 2013 he played lead role in comedy-drama film on the topic of sex education - Balak-Palak. He shared screen space with Shashwati Pimplikar,Bhagyashree Shankpal and Rohit Phalke for the movie. Happy Journey, Phuntroo and Nude are his other releases.
