Maanada Mayilada Keerthi Biography 
Maanada Mayilada Keerthi, also known as VJ Keerthi is the stage name of popular anchor Keerthi. Now known as Keerthi Shantanu, she is an ace anchor associated with Kalaignar TV. A well-known face of this channel, she has anchored many successful shows such as dance reality show ‘Maanada Mayilada’ and talent hunt show ‘Naalaya Iyakunar’. After the successful reality show, Maanada Mayilada, she is known by the name - Maanada Mayilada Keerthi. Most recently on August 21 2015, she married her childhood friend, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, a leading Tamil actor. Thus she is the daughter of star couple - K. Bhagyaraj and Poornima Bhagyaraj, and the sister-in-law of noted actress Saranya Bhagyaraj.
Keerthi is the daughter of popular choreographer Jayanthi and Vijayakumar. Keerthi’s mother runs a dance school in Tamil Nadu and she is a popular choreographer of Tamil films. Keerthi gained popularity as a star anchor through the reality shows - ‘Maanada Mayilada’ and ‘Naalaya Iyakunar’.
Shanthnu has been a frequent visitor to the school run by Keerthi’s mother and that’s how love blossomed between the two. It’s a friendship turned relationship and both have been good friends since childhood. Shanthanu used to frequently visit Keerthi to the sets of Maanada Mayilada and love developed only in the recent years. Maanada Mayilada is one of the popular reality dance shows in Tamil since its inception in 2005. The show is choreographed by Kala. Keerthi rose to prominence when she anchored the show in 2012.
Shanthanu had earlier cleared the rumours surrounding his relationship with Keerthi stating that they share a good friendship only. Later the cat was let out of the bag after an official announcement by the veteran actor Bhagyaraj. The marriage happened with the approval of both the families. The wedding was held at a temple on August 21 2015. Later a grand Reception was conducted in Sree Vaaru Wedding Hall in Vanagaram, Chennai attended by many famous celebrities including Rajinikanth and Vijay.
