M. M. Manasi Biography 
M. M. Manasi is a playback singer associated with south Indian cinema. She sings in all south Indian languages, Hindi and English too. She is a Hindustani vocalist also. Her top Telugu songs include - "Om Sarvani" from Legend, "Mara O Mara” from Tadakha, "Bhelpuri" from Aagadu, "Private party” from Sarrainodu, "Rangamma Mangamma" from Rangasthalam, "Gunde Aagi Pothande" from Shivam, "Meenakshi" from Masala, "Lucky Lucky Rai" from Balupu, "Notanki" from Power etc.
Manasi was born in Chennai on 8 January 1993 to Tamil parents. She has one sister. She got married in May 2018. She grew up in Mumbai, where she completed her studies. At the age of 2 she started learning music when the family attended bhajans during religious ceremonies, and later she took formal training in Hindustani music. She was introduced to playback singing by Illayaraja through Kannada movie, Drishya in 2014. She joined Malayalam cinema with Oru Indian Pranayakadha in 2014. She marked her Bollywood debut with "Daddy Mummy" in Bhaag Johnny.
Some of her chartbuster songs in Tamil include - "Kattikeda" from Kakki Chattai, "Semma Mass" from Mass, "Thamizachi" from Aarambam, "Robo Romeo" from Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum, "Aatakari maman ponnu" from Tharai Thappattai, "Sottavaala" from Puli etc. Manasi has sung over 70 songs in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films.
She made the girls groove with Stylish Thamizhachi from Arrambam. MM Manasi has ventured into singing with a new web series – Riya, a 39-episode web series in English, directed by Jim Sanjay. Her voice was used for the songs - Kamlaa, Dolmaa, Anbirkku Alavillai etc. The singer also works as a dubbing artiste in Kollywood. Tamannaah, Samantha and Hansika are among the actresses for whom she has dubbed.
