Likith Shetty Biography

Likith Shetty is a Kannada film actor and TV anchor. He also appears in Tulu language films. He started his career as a television anchor in 2007, before moving to big screen. He started her film journey in year 2010, and played lead hero in Parole, followed by Oriyardori Asal, Nam Duniya Nam Style, Madime and Sankashta Kara Ganapathi. He played lead hero in all these movies, and his Tulu movie Oriyardori Asal successfully completed 300 days in theatre in year 2011. It is the most successful Tulu film till date.

Likith Shetty was born on 27th February 1989 in Arsikere, Karnataka. Since young he always dreamt to become an actor, yet he started his career as a TV anchor. He completed diploma in theatre from Navarasa school of Art, Bangalore. In 2007 he joined Kannada television as a TV anchor and anchored the Kannada show, U2 Bakra modelled on MTV Bakra for next three years. He also anchored a cookery show, Ogaraney Dabbi in 2010-2011. His popularity in television earned him first offer in films almost at the same time, and he completely switched over to big screen.

In 2010 he got his first break to films as a lead actor. The movie, Parole was directed by Rajshekar, and the movie had an ensemble cast. He played lead hero in three more Kannada films and one Tulu film, and established as an actor. Sankashta Kara Ganapathi in 2018 was his last release, where he played titular role. His debut Tulu film 'Oriyardori Asal' became a huge blockbuster and the biggest hit of Tulu cinema. He was paired with Ramya Barna for this movie, which was based on the famous Tulu comedy drama with the same title, authored by Vijayakumar Kodialbail.
