Laxmikant Kattimani Biography 
Laxmikant Kattimani is an Indian footballer from Goa who plays as a goalkeeper and owns a stellar Indian Super League (ISL) campaign for FC Goa. He is associated with professional matches since 2008, and has played for the Indian football clubs such as Vasco, Dempo, FC Goa etc. He is a member of Indian national team, and also plays for Indian Super League - professional football league in India. Till now he has played for FC Goa only in ISL, and has been associated with the club since 2014. Known for his stellar performance, in the 832 minutes he has played so far, he has made 34 saves.
Laxmikant Kattimani was born on 3 May 1989 in Cansaulim, Goa. His professional career began in 2008 when he joined a local club Vasco in 2008. He switched to another Goan club Dempo in 2009. He was associated with Dempo for long 7 years till 2014, before he was signed by his home team FC Goa for the inaugural season of ISL. Since then he owns a long term association with the club and has displayed an amazing performance till now. He plays as goal keeper of the team.
He also played for his favourite team Dempo for the 2015–16 I-League 2nd Division campaign. He has played for India U19, U23 and National team till now and was a member of India under-23 team which won the 2009 SAFF Championship. He joined national team in 2011, and is associated with it since then. The super-efficient goalkeeper feels very bad when a goal is conceded, and he dreams to play the final of ISL in his home stadium and lift the cup too.
