Lakshmi Rai Biography 
Lakshmi Rai is an Indian film actress who concentrates in Malayalam and Tamil films. She entered film industry in the year 2005 through the debut movie Karka Kasadara and since then has performed in many successful movies.
Lakshmi Rai was born on 5th May 1989 in Bangalore in Karnataka. She spent her younger days at Belgaum. She was pursuing her career in modeling before she entered the film industry. She has appeared in many television commercials including Josco Jewellers, Sylcon Footwears and Emmanuel Silks.
She acted alongside R. Parthiban in the comedy film Kundakka Mandakka in 2005. She then performed in the action thriller Dhaam Dhoom, romantic film Nenjai Thodu and drama Velli Thirai. She received positive reviews for her performance and so got many more chances in Tamil film industry.
She entered Malayalam film industry through the film Rock & Roll in 2007 in which she acted with Mohanlal. Though she got some exposure through this film, it ended up a commercial failure. She received some awards and nominations for her performance.
Some of her films include Kanchanamala Cable TV, Kundakka Mandakka, Valmiki, Neeku Naaku, Dharmapuri, Nenjai Thodu, Annan Thambi, Minchina Ota, Parunthu, Dhaam Dhoom, 3 Harihar Nagar, Muthirai, Mankatha, Christian Brothers, Pen Singam, Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam, Casanovva, Mayamohini, Adhinayakudu, Kalpana, Thaandavam, etc.
She was linked with the cricketers Sreesanth and Dhoni. Some of her popular television ads are for Bru Coffee, Saravana Stores and Fair & Lovely.
