Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli Biography 
Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli is a south Indian actress who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. She is also associated with Tamil television. After playing a series of supporting actress roles, she played her first lead role for the recent Malayalam release - Salt Mango Tree (2015). She played the role of a middle class wife of Biju Menon in this movie and the movie with positive reviews is doing fairly well at box office right now. Earlier this year, she played a pivot role in Tamil blockbuster Maya, where the lead role was played by Nayanthara. Apart from acting she is also interested in sports.
Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli was born into an orthodox Tamil Brahmin family in Chennai. She completed post-graduation in human resource management from Madras School of Social Work and briefly worked as a HR for corporate sector. She has been an athlete since her school days. Interested in sports, she is also a former National Level cricket player, and national Ultimate Frisbee champion. This talented young actress believed in creativity and in her dream to do something creative, she was associated with theatre group Evam though couldn’t actively associated with it. She joined as a full time employee for the group.
She got her first offer from director Magizh Thirumeni for the movie, Mundhinam Paartheney. Then she worked in a television series for director K. Balachander and later for Dharmayudham. After that she decided to take acting full time. She played the role of Saravanan’s wife in 2013 movie, Gouravam (Tamil version). Later she played supporting roles for - Sutta Kadhai, Angels, Kallappadam, Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka and Maya before she got her first major role through Salt Mango Tree. The movie has already become a hit.
