Lakshmi Menon (model) Biography 
Lakshmi Menon is an Indian model who has appeared in variety of television commercials. She was born on 4th November 1981 in Bangalore in India. She started her career in modeling when she was still in her school.
She has completed her degree in sociology from Bangalore University and modeling was her hobby to earn money at that time. She started her international career in modeling in 2006 in her age of 16. She did a show for Jean Paul Gaultier. She campaigned for Hermes, Max Mara, Givenchy, H&M, J Crew, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.
She walked for D&G and Givenchy in the Milan show for La Perla in 2008. This caught attention of many people and she was featured for first time in the French editorial Vogue in October 2008. Apart from this she was featured in many editorials like Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Allure and Indian Elle.
Vogue magazine awarded her the Model of the Year 2008. Karl Lagerfeld photographed her in nude posture and was featured in the Pirelli Calendar 2011. Menon lives in Goa. Until his recent death her partner was the photographer Prabuddha Dasgupta.
