Kulraj Randhawa Biography

Kulraj Randhawa is a film and television actress best known for the television show, Kareena Kareena where she played the female protagonist, Kareena. This show was aired on ZEE TV during 2004-2005. After appearing in a few more television serials, in 2009 Kulraj made her Bollywood debut opposite veteran actor Rishi Kapoor in 'Chintuji'. The movie was a flop. But she gained attention through the Bollywood hit, 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' where she was paired with Bobby deol. After appearing in a few more movies like 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni, she moved towards south. Lucky Kabootar is her upcoming Bollywood flick, where she acts aside Eijaz Khan, Ravi Kishan and Shraddha Das.

She started her acting career with popular television series, Kareena Kareena. The show telecasted more than 200 episodes. People really liked and appreciated it. Very soon she got her first film role. It was a Punjabi movie Mannat, where she was paired opposite Jimmy Shergill. She was paired once again with Jimmy for 'Tera Mera Ki Rishta'. The film cast also included veteran actors like Anupam Kher, Archana Puran Singh and Raj Babbar. She played the role of a Punjabi girl, Rajjo in this movie.

'Yamla Pagla Deewana' is her only hit film in Bollywood. But the limelight of the movie went to its three leading actors, Dharmendra and his sons. She was paired with Tusshar Kapoor in lead role in 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni. This romantic comedy released in 2012 was a disaster at box office. Though she was not interested in south Indian movies as she is not proficient with languages, she moved to Telugu film industry.
