Kuldeep Yadav Biography

Kuldeep Yadav is an Indian cricketer who is a slow left-arm chinaman bowler for his team. He plays for team India and also for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. He was a team member of Indian junior team which played for India Under-19 cricket team in the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and his hat-trick against Scotland in 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup brought him to limelight. He is only the third bowler for India to take a hat-trick in an ODI after Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev, and he made this feat in September 2017 against Australia at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Thus Yadav is known for his two-times hat-trick achievement. For IPL matches, he has been associated with Mumbai Indians and currently a member of Kolkata Knight Riders since 2014.

 

Kuldeep Yadav was born on 14 December 1994 in Kanpur, UP. A member of Uttar Pradesh domestic team, he was signed in an IPL series for the first time in 2012 by Mumbai Indians. He was signed up by the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014. He was a team member of 2014 Champions League Twenty20. Associated with domestic cricket, he played his first ODI & test match in the year 2017. He marked his international debut with test match against Australia on 26 March 2017. He played his first ODI on 23 June 2017 v West Indies. It was indeed surprising when he was named among the list of cricketers for the team members playing against West Indies.

 

As of now, he played two test matches and 19 ODI in his international career and scored 33 and 23 runs from both respectively. He got 9 wickets from those two test matches, and 38 from 19 ODIs, which include a hat-trick against Australia too. He made his Twenty20 International debut for team India against the West Indies on 9 July 2017.
