Kranti Prakash Jha Biography
Kranti Prakash Jha is an Indian actor associated with Bollywood films, best known for playing supporting roles. Most recently he gained recognition playing one among the terrorists named Adil Ameen in police crime drama - Batla House (2019) starring John Abraham in the lead role. Though his role was brief it got noticed. He came to spotlight for the first time after playing Indian cricketer Santosh Lal in the 2016 Indian biographical sports film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, co-starring Sushant Rajput Singh. Initially he worked in a few Bhojpuri and Maithili language films, before he got his first major break through the 2016 sport drama.
Kranti Prakash Jha was born on 17 November 1985 in Purnia, Bihar into an affluent family. His father was a bureaucrat. His early days were spent in his hometown where he completed his schooling. As Kranti was interesting in the field of entertainment he started his career as a model. He also appeared in TV commercials and music videos, before getting his first break in movies, through regional cinema. Initially he worked in movies of Hindi dialect such as Bhojpuri and Maithili before joining Bollywood. 2011 Bhojpuri movie, Deswa, a social drama written and directed by Nitin Chandra marked his screen debut.
As an actor he gained recognition through Once Upon a Time in Bihar (Bhojpuri) and Mithila Makhaan (Maithili) were he played lead roles. In 2013 he marked his Bollywood debut through Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. He also appeared in a few more films, and also in TV dramas, Swami Ramdev - Ek Sangharsh and Stories by Rabindranath Tagore. Kaashi in Search of Ganga, M.S.
