Koyal Rana Biography

Koyal Rana is the current Femina Miss India. She belongs to Jaipur. She won the title of Femina Miss India 2014 beauty pageant on 6th April 2014. She is to represent India for Miss World 2014. She was crowned by former Miss India, Navneet Kaur Dhillon. The first and second runner-ups are Jhataleka Malhotra and Gail Da'Silva respectively. Lopamudra Raut and Nikhila Nandgopal were the rest two contestants who made to Top 5. Femina Miss India Delhi 2014 title and Miss Universal Teen 2009 Title are the other beauty pageants won by her. She represented India at Miss Teen International in Chicago to win this title.

KoyalRana was born in Jaipur on January 5, 1993. She has one younger brother. She studied at St. Thomas' School, Delhi and currently pursing Bachelor of Business Studies from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. Supermodel-turned-actress Sushmita Sen is her idol and she dreams to be crowned as Miss World. After winning the title of Miss India, her prime focus is on Miss World contest that’s to be done this year end. The panel of judges of 51th edition of Femina Miss India beauty pageant included Bollywood celebrities like Abhay Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Manish Malhotra, Vidyut Jamwal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Malaika Arora Khan, Honey Singh and debut actor cum boxer, Vijender Singh.

Apart from the crown, she also won the titles of Miss Beauty with Purpose and Miss Healthy Skin. New sensation, Yo Yo Honey Singh is to compose and record one song for new Miss India. Though she is interested in doing Bollywood movies, now she is concentrating on the Miss World Contest. She is open to do films after that.
