Kota Srinivasa Rao Biography 
Kota Srinivasa Rao is an Indian film actor and a politician who concentrates in Telugu film industry. He usually portrays in negative roles and character roles and also served as a theatre artist. He was elected from Vijayawada East assembly constituency as an MLA in 1999 and held the position for five years until 2004.
Kota Srinivasa Rao was born on 10th July 1947 in Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh in a Telugu Brahmin family. His father Kota Seetha Rama Anjaneyulu was a doctor. He was working in the State Bank before he entered film industry. He had great interest in stage art and took part in many plays in his childhood days. He married Rukmani and has two daughters named Pavani and Pallavi and a son named Prasad. His son Kota Venkata Anjaneya Prasad acted in the film Siddham and with his father in Gaayam 2. However, he died in a road accident on 10th June 2010.
He entered film industry in the year 1978 through the film Pranam Khareedu by Kranthi Kumar. Since then he got many opportunities and has performed diverse roles. His debut movie in Tamil was Saamy. He has acted in more than 650 films and received many awards and honors for his performance.
