Kishwar Merchant Biography

Kishwar Merchant also popular as Kiki and Kish in her friends' circle is a TV actress. She was born on 18 February 1981 in Mumbai. She came into limelight with the show Hip Hip Hurray which aired on Zee TV in 1998. Kishwar a good actress and a great human Being she loves Red, Blue, Yellow and Green colors and Chinese is her favorite food. She is fond of chatting with friends in her free time on her phone and she drives an Audi which is her most favorite car.

Kishwer started her acting career with a role in Zee' serial 'Hip Hip Hurray' in 1998 with a small role but that brought her instant recognition. Later she acted in Detective Karan, Rihaee, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kayamat, Kya Haadsa Kya Haqueeqat, Babul Ki Duwayein Leti Jaa, Miley Jab Hum Tum and many more. She was recognised for her work in the role of a doctor in the popular Sony show 'Dhadkan' as Dr. Aditi. She has also done a Hindi play 'Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar. 

Kishwar is part of the Salman Khan's Big Boss - 9 with a theme 'Double Trouble' that she has done with her boyfriend Suyyash Rai. Kishwer has done all kind of roles but she feels she will be a misfit in mythological roles, as the language spoken in those shows is tough for her to adjust with. Incidentally Kishwar was offered a role in mythological show “Devon Ke Dev Mahadev”, but she refused it for the same reason. Kishwar neither smokes nor drinks like some actresses of the industry. Kishwar says she does what she loves, eats what she likes and loves sleeping and her work.

Some of her favorites are her own- Hip Hip Hurray, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Dhadkan, Piya Ka Ghar, Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai, C.I.D., Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Best friends Forever and  New Punjabi Neighbor.
