Kishan Shrikanth Biography 
Kishan Shrikanth is a Kannada film actor and director. He is also known by the names, Kishan SS and Master Kishan. His name has been entered in Guinness Book of World Records in November 2006, acknowledged as "Youngest director of a professionally made feature length film". He was only 10 year old then, when he directed C/o Footpath and thus replaced the name of Sydney Ling, the record created in the year 1973 when he directed the Dutch film Lex the Wonderdog. He has acted in numerous movies as well as television soaps. He was born on 6 January 1996 in Bangalore. In his single movie C/o Footpath as a director, leading Indian actors like Jackie Shroff, Saurabh Shukla, B.Jayashree, Sudeep and Tara worked as main cast. The film was dubbed into the 5 major Indian languages and released in English as well.
Kishan Shrikanth was born on 6 January 1996 in Bangalore, as the son of Shrikanth HR and Shylaja Shrikanth. He did his schooling at Camlin English School. He was an intelligent student who scored 93 percent marks in his 10th standard exam, though he had poor attendance. The Karnataka Government came forward with an appreciation letter. In return, he requested the government to grant permission to directly take up Master of Arts in Multimedia & Animation. It took one full year to convince the authorities to do the master’s program at the age of 15 or 16. Thus he got admission at the age of 16, thus becoming the youngest post graduate degree earner. Now he is studying at Wiztoonz College of Media & Design, Bangalore.
In the movie, C/o Footpath he played the lead role also. The movie won National Film Award for Best Children's Film in the year 2006. He won two Karnataka State Awards for best child actor as well as Best Film Jury Award. This movie was shown as the opening film at Kids for Kids International Film Festival, Cyprus.
