Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi Biography 
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is a filmmaker and screenwriter associated with Tamil film industry. She is the wife of Udhayanidhi Stalin, a Tamil film producer and actor, who works in Tamil-language films, and the daughter-in-law of popular politician, M. K. Stalin associated with regional politics of Tamil Nadu. As a film director, she is best known for her debut film, Vanakkam Chennai released in 2013. Through this Tamil romantic comedy film she made an impressive film debut garnering positive reviews from all corners. The film starring Shiva and Priya Anand was a box office hit. In 2018 she returned back with yet another Tamil flick, Kaali, starring Vijay Antony in the lead alongside Anjali & Sunaina. Kiruthiga also heads the lifestyle magazine Inbox 1305.
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi started her career with the movie Vanakkam Chennai in 2013 as a screenwriter and film director. She was married to a very famous and influential family associated with films and politics. Her husband Udhayanidhi Stalin is a popular actor and her father-in-law M. K. Stalin a famous politician who serves as the working president of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Also her husband Udhayanidhi Stalin is the grandson of M. Karunanidhi, one of the most influential leaders of Tamil politics ever. Yet, following her husband’s steps, she joined film industry as a screenwriter and director and directed two films in a gap of 5-6 years.
Her debut film Vanakkam Chennai received positive reviews while her recent release Kaali, starring Vijay Antony opened to mixed reviews and fared only average at box office. She produced both these movies under the banner Red Giant Movies, owned by her husband. Apart from the role of a filmmaker, she serves as the head of the lifestyle magazine Inbox 1305.
