Keeya Khanna Biography

Keeya Khanna is a Punjabi film actress and theatre artist from Mumbai. She is associated with Film industry since 2012 and has appeared in the Punjabi films - Marriage da garriage, Yaar Anmulle 2, Punjabian Da King and one Hindi film - Chal Bhaag in 2014. She made her film debut with the film Yaar Anmulle 2 in 2012. But the movie got released in 2015 only. Thus Marriage da garriage in 2014 was her first release.

Keeya Khanna was born and brought up in Mumbai, where she completed her schooling and graduation. But she is of Punjabi origin. She started her career as a theater trained actor and was associated with the famous Prithvi theatre Mumbai. She was spotted by renowned producer from Punjabi Cinema Rajan Batra, while she was performing the play - Mittro Marjani. It happened in 2012 and thus she got her first Punjabi break, Yaar Anmulle 2.

Marriage da garriage was her first release. She played the female lead in the movie released in 2014. She was paired with Navraj Hans and the movie was directed by Jaswinder Singh. The movie received positive reviews and she became a familiar face in Punjab. Very soon she got her big break to Bollywood, to play the female lead in Chal Bhaag. The movie was directed by Prakash Saini and Deepak Dobriyal played the male lead. Though the movie went unnoticed, she was featured in the popular item song – Madam Ji. The movie was panned by critics. She returned to the Punjabi movies and was seen in Punjabian Da King, where she played female lead opposite Navraj Hans once again.
