Karuppanan Venkatesan Biography 
Karuppanan Venkatesan is a professional bodybuilder from Tamil Nadu. He is quite different from other bodybuilders since he follows a strict vegetarian diet. He bagged silver in the Natural Olympia Bodybuilding Championship held in Las Vegas in November 2015. He earned the title at the age of 39. He represented India at the last edition of the contest, finishing at position four. He was the only representative from India. He earns a livelihood by being personal trainer to a select few bodybuilders from different parts of the country. He is a former ‘Mr. India’ too.
Karuppanan Venkatesan hails from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. His father Karuppanan runs his own small-time business in building materials. He completed graduation in Philosophy and Religion from Kamaraj University. Yet he chose a different profession. He is a strict vegetarian who excludes milk too. He later migrated to Hyderabad where he trains students at present. He concentrates on to his career as well. He is a personal trainer to some of the film stars in the city. He idolizes Schwarzenegger and developed the passion towards this sport after watching him on television at the age of 10.
A strict vegetarian who avoids milk too, he consumes 23 different varieties of nuts. He also does yoga to keep himself fit. In 2013 he represented India at Natural Olympia Multi-Sport Expo Weekend in San Diego, California at the age of 37. He is currently settled in Hyderabad. For the Natural Olympia Bodybuilding Championship held in Las Vegas in November 2015, his journey came true only because of the financial help provided by Navayuga Engineering Group, and Venkatesan made India proud by bagging silver.
