Karanvir Bohra Biography

Karanvir Bohra, formerly known as Manoj Bohra is a successful television actor. He is to debut big screen next year with Bollywood movies - Love Yoou Soniye and Mumbai 125 KM 3D. Earlier he has done cameo appearance in Bollywood movie, Kismat Connection and has also worked as a child artist in 1990 movie, Teja. He entered small screen with ‘Just Mohabbat’ and became popular with Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He is married to television actress Teejay Sidhu. They got married in 2006.

Karanvir was born on 28 August 1982 in Jodhpur as the son of Mahindra Bohra and Madhu Bohra. He is the grandson of filmmaker Ram Kumar Bohra. Karanvir did his schooling from G.D.Somani Memorial High School in Mumbai and degree from Sydenham. During teens, he learnt the art of film making and produced his first play, "Plain Crazy About Love". Bollywood actress Helen and his wife work aside him in this stage play.

He entered television with Sony Entertainment Television’s Just Mohabbat in 1999-2000. He played the role of Kabir in this serial. His role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Tushar the following year made him a popular television actor. Later he appeared in television series like Shararat, Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar and Dil Se Di Dua - Saubhagyavati Bhava, season 1 and 2. He has also done celebrity appearance in a few reality shows. In 2006, he received Star Parivar awards for best Jodi aside Tina Parekh for Kasautii Zindagii Kay. In 2012, he received best actor in negative role at Indian Telly awards, Zee Gold awards and Indian television awards for the most memorable performance in Dil Se Di Dua - Saubhagyavati Bhava. He was given critics’ choice award at Zee Gold awards. Now he shares a good relationship with actor Salman Khan.
