Karan Oberoi Biography 
Karan Oberoi is a popular television actor, model, host and singer. He is a part of the Indipop boy band, A Band of Boys, formed in 2001, along with Sudhanshu Pandey, Sherrin Varghese, Siddharth Haldipur and Chaitnya Bhosale. The band is popular for the song and its music video – Yeh kya ho raha hai (Meri neend ud gayi hai). The band released a film, Kis Kis Ko in 2004. He is also popular with the top rated television opera, Jassi jaisa koi nahin. His role as Raghav Oberoi, who secretly loves Jassi was well appreciated. He also had a brief relationship with TV actress Mona Singh, after they met in 2005 as a part of the popular serial.
As many leading actors of television, he too started his career through daily soap opera of Doordarshan – Swabhimaan aired for the first time in 1995. This soap opera was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. After that he appeared Saaya in 1998 and as Rajiv in Dishayen. In 2005, he appeared in Jassi jaisa koi nahin as a friend of her second avatar as a model. He has anchored the show, Hai Na Bolo Bolo for Star plus.
He became a part of the ‘A Band of Boys’ musical group, which was formed in 2001. He was selected from 1200 entries and was selected by top pop star duo - Leslie Lewis and Hariharan. The band made their debut with album ‘Kabhi yeh kabhi woh’ featuring the popular number Meri neend ud gayi hai. Karan appeared in its video as a singer and artist with his friends. Karan Oberoi has also hosted Titan Antakshari for a short period. As an actor, he has also appeared in television serial, Zindagi Badal Sakta Hai Hadsaa during 2008. He played the role of Inspector Abhimanyu Singh in this serial.
