Kanishka Soni is an Indian model, singer and actress from Mumbai. She has acted in both movies and television serials. She made her film debut in the year 2013 through Tamil movie, Pathayeram Kodi opposite Vivek. Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life OK are the current television serials in which she is acting right now. She has also anchored and appeared in some episodes as model for many television shows. As a singer, she has been associated with Doordarshan. She won singing contest of Doordarshan in 2007, Close Up Music Masti Aur Dhoom. She has sung songs for DD National Show Sankatmorchan Hanumaan and has appeared in two roles, Saraswati Devi and Goddess Parvati. As a television actress, Diya Aur Baati Hum is her most popular serial, in which she played the role of Daisa's bahu.

She was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 1987. After Masters and Post-Graduation in diploma in finance from University of Mumbai, she also completed MBA. As a singer, her first appearance on television was for the singing reality show, bathroom singer on Filmy Tv. She has also won a Doordarshan game show in 2007, hosted by Anu Kapoor. She began her modelling career two years later in 2009 and very soon she joined entertainment industry.

She started her career as a singer through the show, Bathroom singer. But later she concentrated herself on acting. As a model, she accompanied Akshay Kumar in Grand Finale of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 and VJ Juhi in Exhausted on Channel V. In 2013, she made her film debut through Tamil movie, Pathayeram Kodi followed by Devaraya and Yuvrajayam. She has appeared in Channel V show Gumrah: The End of Innocence, Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life OK and Pavitra Rishta on Zee Tv.
