Kanchi Singh is a popular actress associated with Hindi television soaps. She is best known for her portrayal of female protagonist Gayatri Nikhil Deora in soap opera Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, aired on Star Plus. The show gave her immense popularity among television audience. She is in a relationship with TV actor Rohan Mehra since 2017. She started her journey as a child artist and later moved to adult roles. She was seen as a child artist in the popular soap – Kutumb. Started offwith bubby youngster roles, she moved to mature adult roles later.

Kanchi Singh is a very popular actress of small screen, who has played female protagonist in several hit soaps. She played Cherry Suryendra Bharadwaj, Parallel Female Lead in one of the longest running television series, Sasural Simar Ka. She played lead role in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya as Avni Khandelwal and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Gayatri Deora. She also appeared in episodic series, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. for Mtv Box cricket league, she is a player for Lucknow Nawabs. In 2017 she won Best Youth Icon – Female award at International Iconic Awards.

Kanchi Singh was born on March 27, 1996 in Mumbai. She started her television journey as a child artist for the show, Kutumb, aired on Sony Entertainment Television during 2001-2003. Then she took a break from the industry and appeared onscreen later playing bubbly characters before graduating to serious female protagonist roles. She gained immense popularity as ‘Gayu’ – the lead character of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She has also undergone a bold transformation making headlines in the recent times. Earlier she was known for her next-door girl image. Kanchi created a buzz with her never seen bold avatar.
