Kalabhavan Mani Biography 
Kalabhavan Mani is an actor and singer of South India. He started his career in Malayalam films as a comedian and established himself as a serious actor. He has acted in numerous films in Malayalam and Tamil. He was noted for his role of blind street singer in the film Vasantiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum.
He was born on 1st January 1971 in Chalakkudi in Kerala. His original name was Mani Raman. His parents are Raman and Ammini. He belongs to the backward community of Pulaya. He married Nimmy and has one daughter Sree Lakshmy. He started his career as a mimicry artist in Kalabhavan in Cochin.
He acted as an auto driver in the Malayalam film Aksharam and since then he has appeared in a number of films as a comedian. His first major role was in the movie Vasantiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum. He has acted in more than 80 films in Malayalam and 20 films in Tamil.
He is also a good playback singer and sings Nadan Paattu. The first album that he released was Kannimanga Prayathil. He has also released some religious songs and Mappila Pattukal. Though he started in comedic roles, he then shifted to serious roles. He plays the villain role and was made famous all over South India for his unusual style. He is also notable for his down to earth personality and his humanitarian aids to people in need.
He got Special Jury Award, Kerala State film award and Asianet Film award for the film Vasantiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum. He received Best Actor in a Villain Role Asianet Award for the film Chotta Mumbai.
Kalabhavan Mani died on 6 March 2016 at Amrita Hospital in Kochi.
