Kahkashan Patel Biography 
Kahkashan Patel is a former Indian model, who has been featured in many chartbuster video albums of late 1990s and early 2000s, the time when Indi Pop boomed in Indian music industry. She was featured as the lead model for some of the very popular and chartbuster pop videos such as Yeh Jo Sili Sili (2001) aside Hans Raj Hans, Jogiya Khalli Balli (2001) of Bhupinder Chawla, Yaro Sab Dua Karo of Ram Shankar (1998), Choodi Bhi Zid Pe Aayi Hai (2000) of Anuradha Paudwal and Resham Ka Hai Kurta Mera (1997) of Ila Arun. Maine Dekha Ek Sapna of Lalit Sen is yet another music video in which she was seen.
She remained one of the top models of Indian fashion industry and also Indi pop towards the end of 1990s, and owns numerous chartbusters to her credit. She has also been featured in a few Punjabi films and Bollywood movies. She played the role of Kareena Kapoor’s elder sister Nimrita ("Nim" Rai) in 2009 romantic comedy Kambaqt Ishq, the role for which she is remembered most in Bollywood movies. She also appeared in numerous ads of 1990s and later, and some of them include - Clinique Shampoo, Breeze Soap, Halls Orange, Rasna Royale, Sunsilk Shampoo + Hot Oil Treatment, Hero Honda, Noga /, Whisper P&G etc.
2nd November is her birthday. She completed her B.A. in economics from Sophia's College, Mumbai and started modelling during her graduation in Mumbai. She later completed computer automation course in honours from Aptech + Compufield. During her free time she used to visit office for a couple of hours where she handled the Public Relations and Travelling Plans in the agency. Swimming, movies and music are her hobbies. She has also hosted the popular music countdown show of Doordarshan in the 1990s, Super hit Muqabla, and appeared in many ramp walks for leading designers of the country.
