Jyothika Saravanan Biography 
Jyothika Saravanan is an actress in Tamil film and she has acted in a number of hit films. She also appeared in the film industry of some other languages like Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi. Some of her famous films include Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu, Chandramukhi, Mozhi, etc. She was born on 18th October 1978 in Mumbai.
Jyothika Saravanan’s father is Chander Sadanah who is a film producer and her mother is Seema Sadanah. She is a Punjabi by birth. Nagma is her half sister. She is also an actress. She studied in Learner’s Academy in Mumbai. Then she continued her education in Psychology at the Mithibai College in Mumbai. Her two siblings are Roshini whose original name is Radhika and Suraj who is working for Priyadharshan as an assistant director.
Jyothika Saravanan and Surya Sivakumar, the famous Tamil actor fell in love with each other and got married on 11th September 2006. They have one daughter Diya born on August 2007 and one son Dev born on June 2010. Surya and Jyothika worked together in seven films.
Her debut film was in Hindi by name Doli Saja Ke Rakhna in which Akshay Khanna was her co-star. This film was directed by Priyadarshan. Then she entered Tamil film industry and made her cameo appearance in the film Vaali in 1999. The same year she acted with Surya in the film Poovellam Kettuppar. She won her Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award for the film Kushi. In 2004 Tamil film Perazhagan won her Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. Her last film was Seetha Kalyanam which was released in 2009. After her married she retired from acting in movies.
Some of her films include Poovellam, Kettuppar, Mugavari, Kushi, Rhythm, Raakilipaatu, Uyirile Kalanthathu, Thenali, Little John, Dumm Dumm Dumm, Star, Poovellam Un Vasam, 12B, Raja, Nagarahavu, Dhool, Priyamana Thozhi, etc. Perazhagan, Kushi, Vaali, Chandramukhi and Mozhi are her award winning films.
