Jimit Trivedi Biography

Jimit Trivedi is an Indian actor, who is a part of movies, television and theatre. He is a very successful actor of Gujarati cinema, and mostly plays lead roles. He entered acting through Bollywood film Bhool Bhulaiya in 2007 in a supporting role and played his first parallel lead role in his debut Gujarati flick, Gujjubhai The Great. The film became so successful that, a sequel was also made named GujjuBhai - Most Wanted and he reprised the role of Bakul Buch in its sequel. Most recently he was seen in Bollywood hit film, 102 Not Out where he was seen in a pivot role of Dhiru aside the legend, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. He also played lead role in 2016 Gujarati film, Polam Pol.

Jimit was born in Valam, Mehsana district, Gujarat. He appears in movies, stage plays as well as television roles. While he plays lead roles in Gujarati films, he plays supporting roles in other language films. He was also seen in Hindi soap, Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum in a meaty role. Bhool Bhulaiya directed by Priyadarshan marked his film debut in 2007, and he has spent one decade in the industry. He played Chandu in his debut flick, reprising the role of Sudheesh played in the original Malayalam version. Same year he was seen in a brief role in the TV show, Jeevan Saathi — Humsafar Zindagi Ke.

Theatre remains the first love for this actor. He is majorly known for his stage presence while handling a role and flawless comical timing. He also loves films and roles of comedy genre. His role in Gujjubhai The Great belongs to this category, which he enjoyed a lot and audience too. He started his career in theatre during his college days, which is his first preference. Yet he had to take movie and TV roles, due to the money he gets from both.
