Jaswant Menaria Biography 
Jaswant Menaria is a popular television actor associated with Hindi soaps who shot to fame playing the role of ‘Dhritrashtra’ in the epic narrative, ‘Mahabharat’. Later he played several memorable characters such as Shakti Singh elder brother to Krishna in ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’, followed by his memorable portrayal of Bhanu Pratab Singh – a pivot role in Drashti Dhami - Vivian Dsena starrer Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Menaria got married to Poornima during November 2007 and in 2012 he was accused of harassing his wife for dowry and even threatened to divorce her.
This popular television artist hails from Udaipur. He actually wanted to join the administration field, but became an actor. Jaswant has played several character roles on screen, mostly negative roles. He got recognized through the role of ‘Dhritrashtra’ in the epic narrative, ‘Mahabharat’. ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’ is his best role up-to-date. With grey shades, Jaswant excelled in this role as Shakti, Krishna's elder brother who thinks women inferior to women. His negative character was well appreciated by audience and the role of his wife Kesar was portrayed by Kalpna Bohra and Aalika Sheikh. Later he was seen in the popular series - Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, a tribute to Hindi cinema.
Menaria got married to Poornima on 20th November, 2007. On 17th February 2012 it was reported that Jaswant’s family members went to Poornima’s home and fought with her parents for dowry. Poornima wished to live with her husband and in-laws and never had blamed of accuses or tortures. But she told that his family demanded the divorce and he was currently living at Andheri (West).
