Janani Iyer Biography 
Janani Iyer is an Indian film actress and model and he started her career in modeling after completing her studies. Initially she has appeared in more than 150 television commercials before she entered the film industry. It was the director Bala who spotted her and brought her into Tamil film industry by giving her an opportunity to perform in the lead role in his feature film Avan Ivan.
Janani Iyer was born on 31st March 1989 in Chennai in Tamil Nadu in a Tamil family. She is nicknamed Jaanu and is the only daughter of her family. She spent her younger days at Chennai and completed her schooling from D.A.V. School at Gopalapuram. She was interested in becoming an engineer and so joined the Saveetha Engineering College at Chennai and completed her course in computer engineering.
After completing her college education she entered into modeling industry. She had great desire of becoming an actress at that time. With this dream, acting has become her passion in her life. Initially she got chances to perform in insignificant cameo roles in some films such as Thiru Thiru Thiru Thiru in 2009 and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya in 2010.
When she was looking for a chance to act in films, she came to know of the director A.L. Vijay. It was he who recommended her to director Bala who was looking for a new Tamil face for his film Avan Ivan at that time. She paired with Arya, Vishal Krishna and Madhu Shalini in that comedy drama. Then she got chances to perform in some more films. As she is from Tamil Nadu, she speaks in her own voice in her films. Some of her films are Avan Ivan, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Thiru Thiru Thiru Thiru, Kazhugu and Paagan.
She has her caste name as the suffix of her name and when asked about that she answered that she has every right to name herself as she desired. She is gossiped to have affairs with a young hero of South India. But she denied that fact. Her charming eyes give her that sexy appeal. Together with them, her beautiful looks and innocent face captivates the hearts of her fans.
