Isha Rikhi Biography

Isha Rikhi is an actress who predominantly works in Punjabi films. In 2018 she made her Bollywood debut in a lead role through the movie, Nawabzaade. Isha joined Punjabi film industry in 2012 playing a brief role in Jatt and Juliet and later became a part of Punjabi film industry. She later became a part of many Punjabi movies such as Jatt Boys Putt Jatta De (2013), Happy Go Lucky (2014 film), Bade Changay Ne Mere Yaar Kaminey (2014), What the Jatt!! (2015) and Ardaas (2016), before she landed into her first Bollywood role through Nawabzaade. But the movie was a box office failure. She is also a successful model.

Isha was born and brought up in Cjandigarh. She has now spent more than 6 years in Punjabi film industry since 2012. She has started off in Punjabi movies in supporting roles before graduating to lead roles, and she played the female lead in Happy Go Lucky (2014) and What the Jatt!! in 2015. But the movie didn’t work and she continued with supporting roles in Punjabi cinema. The actress loves to play romantic roles on screen. She marked Bollywood debut with Remo D’Souza’s Nawaabzaade, and now she wants to do an Imtiaz Ali film. Geet from Jab We Met is her dream role. She also loved Alia Bhatt’s role from Highway.

Acting wasn’t something that was on the mind of this Chandigarh-based girl during her childhood days. Yet she dreamt to win a beauty pageant, because of that crown. For Isha, she found fun in modelling and slowly she started getting modelling roles as well, before she landed into films. Before she got Nawabzaade, she had gone through audition of one more Bollywood film.
