Isha Chawla Biography

Isha Chawla, also spelled as Isha Chaawla is a popular Telugu actress. She made her debut in Tollywood with Prema Kavali opposite Debutant Aadi in 2011. The movie was a huge success and gave her big break to entertainment industry. She also received "The Most Promising Face MAA Award" for the year 2012. Later she appeared in Telugu movies like Poola Rangadu, Srimannarayana and Mr. Pellikoduku. She is to debut Kannada movies with Viraat. Dummy and Rambha Urvasi Menaka are her upcoming Telugu projects.

 
Isha Chaawla was born in Delhi to S.K Chawla and Veenu Chawla on March 6, 1988. Her real name is Lisha Chawla. She has two elder sisters. She attended Modern High School Delhi and graduated in political science from KHALSA College of Delhi University. Isha started her acting career with theatre. She joined IFF Mumbai where she did a three month training program in acting. Later she accepted commercial ads. She made her film debut with K. Vijay Bhaskar's Prema Kavali in 2011. The movie ran for 100 days and declared as a commercial success. She was casted in lead role opposite Aadi in this movie which proved to be successful. She also received the most promising face of the year Award.

Though she got numerous film offers, her first love still remained theatre. She went back to Gurgaon to do theatre with disabled children and returned one year later to the industry with her second movie, Poola Rangadu which again proved to be a box office hit. Thus she established herself as one of the best new faces of the industry. Later she appeared in Telugu movies like Srimannarayana and Mr. Pellikoduku. RUM is her upcoming movie in which she plays the character of Meneka, an outgoing modern girl.
