Isabel Kaif Biography

Isabel Kaif is an upcoming actress associated with Bollywood. A successful model, she is best known as the younger sister of top Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif. She was born in 1986 in Hong Kong into a big family of eight siblings. She has one brother and 6 sisters. Though there were speculations that Isabel Kaif would be joining Bollywood in the year 2013-2014, her Bollywood project got delayed for some reason. Isabel is still waiting for her Bollywood debut.

As per latest biz, she is to star opposite Sooraj Pancholi for one Bollywood film - 'Time to Dance', directed by Stanley D’costa and it’s a dance film. She was seen in a brief role in 'Dr. Cabbie' Canadian romantic comedy film. Actor Salman acted as her mentor, and co-produced this film. Kaif also remained in limelight for all wrong reasons, since her elder sister became a star in Bollywood. She was caught in an MMS scandal in 2010 when a sexually explicit video of a girl bearing an uncanny resemblance to her was doing the rounds. Both Isabel and her family denied the issue.

This London-based model is the daughter of Susana Mary Turcotte and Mohammed Kaif. Her parents got legally separated when she was young and her mother singly raised 7 children. Her family holds a theater background and has also co-founded a production company. Before she started working in films, Kaif established herself as a model. She acted in a short film ‘Coming Home’ directed by Steven Roy Thomas, co-staring Harshvardhan Kapoor. She has also worked as an assistant director for the movie ‘Summum Bonum’ in 2014. She is known to have a fondness for the arts.

Isabelle started modelling since the age of 14. She has taken an acting course at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute of New York. Interestingly it’s the same institute where Katrina’s alleged ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor also studied. She has trained for acting and dancing from the institute for many years.
