Indeevar Biography 
The popular lyricist of Bollywood during 60s is also known as Indivar, Indiwar and Indeewar. He has given amazing contribution to music section of Bollywood from 60’s to 90’s and was active in the industry still he passed away in the year 1997. He debut Bollywood with songs of Malhaar in the year – 1949. His most popular works include Himalay ki gode mein, Saraswathi Chanda, Qurbani, Upkar, Purab aur paschim, Ghayal, Dariya dil, Tohfa, Resham ki dori, Samchauta, Amanush, Sajan bina suhagan, Don, Safar and Koyla. He has been associated with actor Manoj Kumar in a series of movies like Upkar, Purab aur paschim and Himalay ki gode mein. He has written more than 1000 songs for 300 movies for Bollywood. He has written a few popular songs of style icon Nazia Hassan too – Bhoom bhoom, Aap jaisa koi mere zindagi mein and Meharbani. He has also written the popular tracks of ‘Star’ featuring Zohaib Hassan.
He has been nominated in Filmfare for best lyrics 5 times of which he won it for Amanush in the year 1976. The song was Dil aisa kise ne mera thoda, pictured on Uttam Kumar and Sharmila Tagore and sung by versatile Kishore Kumar. His other nominations include - Ek Tu Na Mila of Himalay ki gode mein, Pyar Ka Tohfa Tera of Tohfa, Behnane Bhai Ki Kalai of Resham ki dori and Samjhauta Ghamose Kar Lo of Samjauta.
His other popular songs include –Chandan se badan and Phool tumhe bheja hai khat mein of Saraswathi chanda, Yeh hai desh ke darthi and Kasme wade pyar wafa sab of Upkar, Madhupan khushboo of Sajan bina suhagan, Dulhan Chali, Tab tum mere paas aana piye and Yeh preet jahan ki of Purab aur Paschim, Wada to nifaya, Oh babul pyaare and Palbhar ke liye koi hamein of Johny mera naam, Yeh mera dil of Don and Jeevan se bhari and Jo tumko ho pasand of Safar. He was a popular lyricist during new age cinema too – Khungate mein chanda hai, Tanhai and Dekha tujhe to of Koyla, Sochna kya of Ghayal and Tu Mera Superman of Dariya dil are a few instances.
