Later he reentered film industry in the lead role debuting into the romantic comedy Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in 2008.

Imran Khan was born on 13th January 1983 in Madison at Winconsin in USA. He is the grandson of the actor Nasir Hussain. His father’s name is Anil Pal and his mother’s name is Nuzhat Khan. When he was a small boy, his parents got divorced and his mother moved to India. He came with his mother to India and studied at Bombay Scottish School and then continued the later part of his education at Ooty.

He stayed with his father at Sunnyvale at California and studied at Fremont High School there. Then he joined New York Film Academy at Los Angeles and moved back to Mumbai and continued his education at Kishore Namit Kapoor’s acting Institute. sHe married his long time girl friend on 10th January 2011 in Pali Hill at Mumbai.

He showed his face in the film for the time in his uncle’s film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988. Then again in 1992, he acted in the film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikanderi and in both of these films his role was that of young Aamir Khan. His debut movie in the lead character was in 2008 in the film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

His film in 2008 named Kidnap gave him a big break. He was selective in choosing his films and in 2009 he performed in only one film Luck. In 2010, he performed opposite Sonam Kapoor in the film I Hate Luv Storys and it got many positive reviews and became a mega hit at box office.

Some of the films that he has performed include Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Kidnap, Luck, I Hate Luv Storys, Jhootha Hi Sahi, Break Ke Baad, Delhi Belly, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Once Upon a Time Again, etc.  He bagged many awards for his performance including Filmfare award.

When the state government passed the law to increase the age limit of alcohol consumption to 25 years, he filed a suit along with his brother in law Vedant Malik in 2011 against it. His opinion was that one need not wait for 25 years to exercise his freedom of choice regarding his lifestyle.
