Imman Annachi Biography

Imman Annachi is a Tamil film actor who excelled in comic roles and he conducts various comedy shows on television. Solluganne Sollunga and Kutty Chutties are the popular shows he conducted on Sun TV network, which gave his real breakthrough also. His mannerisms, body language and expressions have made him an established comedian on small screen as well as big screen. Apart from numerous film roles, he has also acted in the short film - Please Close The Door. Kathakali, Anjala, Puli, Palakkattu Madhavan, Sandamarutham, Kakki Sattai, Kayal, Poojai, Madras etc are some of his recent appearances on big screen. Hosting TV shows with a humorous touch has made him a well-known celebrity on small screen in the recent times.

Imman Annachi’s real name is Immanuel. He belongs to Thiruvaluthinadar Vilai village, Eral of Thoothukudi District. His association with entertainment industry began in 2005. Konjam Arattai Konjam Settai telecasted in Makkal TV marked his television entry as a TV host. Solluganne Sollunga on Adithya TV was his real breakthrough. Later he hosted the show - Kutty Chutties on Sun TV, a show for children. He also played a few uncredited roles in Tamil films since 2006. Chennai Kadhal, Thalainagaram and Vettaikaaran are among those.

Since 2010, he got some pivot roles on big screen, mostly in comic genres. Neerparavai (2012) was his landmark movie which gave him the tag ‘Annachi’ as well. Later he played notable roles in Maryan, Naiyaandi, Kayal etc. He portrayed a full-length role of a comedy cop in Adhu Vera Idhu Ver and very soon he is to play lead hero in an upcoming film titled 'Kutty Pattalam'. Till now he has acted in about 25 Tamil films.
