Honeypreet Insan Biography 
Honeypreet Insan is the adopted daughter of the controversial god man, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Gurmeet has been one of the most influential figures of North India, who has been convicted for a rape case and imprisoned. Since Gurmeet’s arrest, Honeypreet remained in limelight. There were speculations that she will succeed her foster father’s throne as Dera Sacha Sauda chief. However Haryana Police has issued a 'lookout notice' for Honeypreet Singh, and has been charged with sedition, nstigating violence, and conspiracy in attempting to free Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh after his rape conviction last month. Honeypreet has also assisted her father in a few movies in the recent times.
Her real name is Priyanka Taneja. She was born in the year 1982 in Fatehabad, Haryana. She is 37 years old now. She was earlier married to Vishwas Gupta, and now they have separated. Gurmeet Singh adopted his confidante Honeypreet as his daughter, and similar to Singh's other followers, she too adopted "Insan" as a surname. She is a philanthropist and assists her father in all social and professional activities. She worked as an editor and assistant director for Gurmeet’s movies such as ‘MSG - The Warrior: Lion Heart'. She also appeared in MSG 2 The Messenger. The duo has always been praised for their work together.
In 1999, she married Vishwas Gupta- one of the most trusted and loyal followers of the Dera, and it was conducted by Gurmeet. But she later accused Gupta for dowry harassment and Gupta made a shocking revelation and claimed that Gurmeet had an illicit relationship with adopted daughter. The divorce was granted in 2009, and after that Honeypreet got fully active with social life, and assisted her father. It’s only after the conviction of Gurmeet in August 2017, Honeypreet Insan came to spotlight once again, when it was announced that Honeypreet Insan will be the next chief of the Dera Sacha Sauda.
