Honey Singh Biography 
Honey Singh is an Indian rapper, bangra producer, music producer, singer and film actor. He is most popular nowadays with fast tracks of Chennai Express. He has released many albums in his name. Honey Singh has received the ETC award for the Best sound in 2006 for his song Glassi, PTC award for the Best Folk Pop Award 2009 for Rebirth and PTC Punjab Best Music Director 2011. He is one of the highest paid music artists of India for special songs for the promotion of the movie. Cocktail and Mastan are a few instances. Yo! Yo! Honey Singh tops the chart of trending videos of 2012 and a popular artist among you tube viewers too. Brown Rang and High Heels, in collaboration with Jaz Dhami placed him among the top 10 artists of you tube in the year 2010. He loves to sing Punjabi and Hindi rather than English. As an artist, he has performed in many colleges as well as live concerts.
Honey Singh was born as Hridesh Singh on 15 March 1984 in Hoshiarpur. He studied in Guru Nanak Public School, New Delhi. He studied music at the Trinity School when he was in United Kingdom. His Punjabi album International Villager was released on 11 November 2011 topped Asian music charts. It featured singer J-Star also. A song belonging to this album was used in Saif Ali Khan’s movie, Cocktail. His debut song in Hindi was for the film Shakal Pe Mat Ja that featured Gagan Sidhu. He has also charged Rs.7 million for a song for the film Mastaan and it’s the highest amount paid to an Indian artist up to date. His solo singer album was ‘Satan’ released on 12-12-12. The video was premiered at MTV.
After 2012 Delhi gang rape case, petitions were filed against Honey Singh blaming that his song lyrics are offensive and that they give raise to violence against women. On July 4, 2013, Punjab and Haryana High court dismissed all the cases filed against Yo Yo Honey Singh.
