Himansh Kohli is an upcoming young hero of Bollywood who made debut through 2014 commercial hit, Yaariyan, which is the directorial debut of actress, Divya Khosla Kumar. Earlier this actor from Delhi became popular through the Hindi youth fiction program, Humse Hai Liife in which he portrayed the role of Raghav Oberoi. Prior to entering movies as a lead actor, he has worked as a radio jockey in 2011 with Radio Mirchi in Delhi. He is quite popular for his role as Raghav for the television series, Humse Hai Liife.

Kohli was born and brought up in Delhi. He was born to Vipin Kohli and Neeru Kohli and he has one younger sibling. He has been a die-hard fan of super star Rajesh Khanna since his childhood days. He got encouragement from his parents to pursue his dreams. He completed graduation from Amity University, Noida and worked as a radio jockey for a brief period till he made his acting debut. He left the successful his small screen debut happened through Channel [V]'s daily soap Humse Hai Liife. He gained recognition through this show, where he portrayed the male lead Raghav Oberoi. In 2012, he left the show when he got an offer to join a Bollywood movie.

The actor attended numerous acting workshops and prepared a lot before the debut of his Bollywood film, Yaariyan. However, he returned back to shoot its final episode. In this youth-oriented movie, he worked aside Nicole Faria and Rakul Preet Singh. He portrayed the role of Lakshya, the son of a martyred army officer in this movie.
