Hasan Zaidi Biography

Hasan Zaidi is a successful young television and Bollywood actor. He played the silent lover Anuj in Sony's Ek Ladki Anjaani Si and stole all hearts through his innocence. Till now he has acted in more than 15 serials which include a few popular series like  Kumkum, Sun yaar chill maar, Unwind, Pepsi 'A.D.A', Ghar Ek Sapna, Powder, Remix, Rishta.com and Khotey Sikkey. He is married to Christina, an Austrian since 2009 and the couple has one daughter.

After playing numerous supporting roles in television serials, his first role as a lead actor was Khotey Sikkey in which he played the male protagonist, Mohit. Most recently he has made his film debut through Vikram Bhatt’s A Horror story, followed by `Dishkyaoon` on March 2014, the film produced by actress Shilpa Shetty. Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Crime and Bollywood, Hum se hai zamana, Naam gum jaayege, Mera dil diwana and Twinkle Beauty parlour are a few more television shows.

Hasan who was born in Aligarh to college professors and his family originally belongs to Hardoi near Lucknow. He spent his childhood and teens at Mascot before returning to India. He completed graduation in Tourism and hospitality management from Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus. He has been associated with theatre since his school days. Ekta's longest running serial, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, was one of his earliest popular roles in which he played the supporting role of Aditya Rai Singhania, a lawyer.

He has acted in ‘The Fourteenth Floor’ – a short film by Shudeep. Kabhie Kabhie is his upcoming Bollywood release in which he plays the lead star.
