Harshad Chopra Biography

Harshad Chopra is a popular television actor. He is known for his role as Prem Juneja in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil where he was paired opposite, Additi Gupta. This couple is widely regarded as one of the great couples of Hindi soap operas. "Mamta" and "Left Right Left" helped him to earn early appreciation. Anurag Ganguly in Tere Liye, Mohan in Dharampatni and Raghav in Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagiyavati Bhava are his other noted screen appearances.

Harshad Chopra is born on 17th May, 1983 in Gondia, Maharashtra. After his schooling the family shifted to Pune. He successfully auditioned for Zee TV's Mamta where he played the negative role of Aakash. His first prominent role was in Left Right Left of SAB TV, where he played the character of Cadet Ali Baigh. Then he appeared for a short while as Akshat Malhotra in Amber Dhara on Sony TV. Love story, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil on Star Plus became his biggest breakthrough to television career. Not only his character Prem Juneja became popular nationwide, it gave him first television awards as well. It helped the successful onscreen couple, Harshad Chopra and Additi Gupta to gather numerous joint awards in 2008 like Best New On Screen Couple at New Talent Awards and Favourite Yogya Jodi at Star parivar awards. It also helped him to get Favourite Naya Sadasya-Male at Star Parivar awards. Next year, the same Jodi received Hottest Jodi awards at Star parivar awards. He has also received nominations for best actor, son, brother and husband for same role.

His next popular serial was Tere Liye, for which he won numerous awards as well as nominations. His role name was Anurag Ganguly and he was paired with Anupriya Kapoor. Dil Se Di Dua - Saubhagyavati Bhava of Life OK, Dharampatni of Imagine TV and Amber Dhara of Sony TV are other popular screen appearances of Chopra.
