Gurshabad Biography

Gurshabad is a Punjabi film actor and playback singer known for his works in Punjabi cinema. He has also released singles and collaborated with other artists too. He has been learning and performing music since the age of 10, and now a prominent playback singer of Punjabi cinema with many chartbuster hits. He loves singing folk literature also and tries to avoid limiting himself to any particular genre. He has been associated with the world of Punjabi music since 2015 beginning with collaborations and within a short time span, he has established himself as a singer.

His full name is Gurshabad Singh Kular and he was born on 24 August 1989 in Amritsar, Punjab. He completed his Master of Arts program in Music from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is singing since the age of 10 and started his professional career in 2015. His career began with a collaboration single with Ammy Virk in 2015, where the duo sang about Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He marked his screen debut the same year in a supporting role with Angrej, and the film was a box office hit.

He released singles - Milne Di Rutt, Geetkariyan and Tarakiyaan and also marked his playback singing career in Punjabi cinema. Rajya from 2017 film Sarvann was the first released song, followed by Laari in Vekh Baraatan Challiyan which became immensely popular. After that he started receiving more singing offers from movies, and he started accepting them. He sang for Chal Mera Putt, Band Vaaje, Bhajjo Veero Ve, Laung Laachi, Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua etc in the recent times. He also plays supporting roles in Punjabi movies.
