Gurjinder Kumar Biography 
Gurjinder Kumar is an Indian professional footballer of India national team, and also plays for Indian Super League - professional football league in India. He plays as a left back for FC Pune City in the Indian Super League. Das hails from Punjab. Since 2010 he has played for some of the leading sports clubs of the country. As a part of national team he has played in Under-23 and Indian team. He is playing for national team since 2012, and got opportunity to play 5 international matches till now.
Gurjinder Kumar hails from Nawanshahr, Punjab. He was born on 10 October 1990 into a family of footballers. He graduated from the Chandigarh Football Academy, and very soon he signed with Pune. In fact the death of his elder brother, a footballer, prompted him to take football career seriously. He was only 10 years old then. He also joined Tata Football Academy after which he played in senior teams. He made his professional debut for Pune in I-League in 2011. He scored his first goal of his professional career against Viva Kerala on 26 February 2011. He was a member of Pune team till 2014.
Gurjinder Kumar signed for Salgaocar for the 2014-15 I-League. He made his debut in the 2014-15 Indian Federation Cup, and scored three goals in the season. In 2015 he was signed by FC Pune City for loan and played his first match in Indian Super League. He made his international debut in June 2011. As a member of U-23 team, he played his match against Qatar U23 side for the 2012 Olympic qualifiers. He played 5 matches for team India.
