Gulki Joshi Biography

Gulki Joshi is a popular television actress, associated with Hindi television. She is best known for playing lead role as Sugni on television serial Phir Subha Hogi. Her episodic roles in crime series, Crime Patrol also earned recognition. She appeared in several episodes of the show. Both her parents are artists, associated with Vividbharati radio station and TV shows as writer respectively. Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja, Piya Rangrezz, Paramavatar Shri Krishna, Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman and Piyaa Albela are some of her roles. She currently plays the role of Naina in Piyaa Albela since 2017.

Gulki Joshi was born on 17 May 1990 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Her father Rakesh Joshi worked as director with All India Radio Vividh Bharati. Her mother Arachana Shintre Joshii is a stage actress and also writes TV shows. Both her parents have been involved with Delhi theatre. So Gulki grew up watching the plays and the world of artists, and she too dreamt to become an actress. She completed graduation from Mithibai College, Mumbai. During those days she was associated with college drama. After completing her graduation, she too decided to follow her parents’ footsteps and pursue a career in acting field. She graduated in philosophy.

Before her TV debut itself, she was already in the news for her acting prowess and diligence. She was not keen on daily soaps. Yet she landed into the world of soaps, in her words - rona-dhona rigmarole. TV show Phir Subah Hogi marked her acting debut in 2012. She bagged the female protagonist for her debut show. Movies, reading, travelling and music are her favourite hobbies. Aalu Puri is her favourite food. She is unmarried, and currently not dating anyone.
