Gulab Kothari Biography 
Gulab Kothari is an Indian journalist, thinker and author. He currently serves as editor-in-chief of Indian daily newspaper Rajasthan Patrika. This veteran journalist is a recipient of numerous honours including Moortidevi Award, an India literary award annually presented by the Bharatiya Jnanpith. He received this honour in the year 2011. His research works are concentrated towards Vedic Studies prominent among which is Maanas. His journalism and writings are an excellent example of positive outlook and holistic thinking.
He received D. Litt. in philosophy from Intercultural Open University in 2002. He is a recipient of Bhartendu Harishchandra Award in 2000 and was most recently honoured with Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award in 2019. Acharya Tulsi Award in 2003, IOU Peace Award of the Year in 2007 and Brahmrishi Ashram Tirupati's Rastriya Gaurav Award in 2007 are a few more. He is a writer, thinker and exponent of Ved Vijnana.
The celebrated journalist of present times, Gulab Kothari hails from Malpura. He has authored more than a dozen books in Hindi and English and most of them deal with different aspects of human life. His treatise Manas, with twelve volumes, has been translated into 11 Indian languages and English. ‘Adya’, ‘0 My Mind’ and the ‘Tao of Spirituality’ are among his narrative poems. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Rajasthan Patrika, a national Hindi Daily. Over the years he played an important role in popularizing this daily. He also tries to create awareness among the masses about the depleting natural resources through his daily.
He completed his Ph.D. Degree from the Intercultural Open University, the Netherlands in 1995, based on the thesis, ‘Newspaper Management’. He was awarded D.Litt. in Philosophy by the same University in 2002. As a part of his profession as a journalist, he tries to bridge the gap between the media and public and often conducts interactive seminars with people at different cities.
