Gopika Biography 
Gopika is an Indian film actress who concentrated in Malayalam film industry. She started her career in modeling and her debut film was Pranayamanithooval in 2003. She acted in more than 30 films in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries.
She was born on 24th August 1984 in Ollur village in Thrissur in Kerala. Her birth name was Girly Anto. Her parents are Anto Grancis and Tessy Anto. She has one sister named Glini. She completed her higher secondary in St. Raphael’s and then joined Calicut University to study sociology. Her teacher Kamalher taught her classical dance.
She got the title of Miss College when she was studying. She took part in Miss Thrissur beauty contest also. Though she did not win the title, she was the first runner up and this gained her some modeling assignments. She married a doctor working in Northern Ireland, Ajilesh Chacko on 17th July 2008. She has one daughter Amy born on 14th April in 2010.
She wanted to become an airhostess but she landed into the film industry. In her first film Pranayamanithooval she acted with Jayasurya and Vineeth. Her second film 4 the People was a blockbuster. The song Lejjavathiye Ninde Kalla Kadaikkannil was a big hit. Another film Autograph in Tamil in 2004 was also a big hit. She acted in Kannada film Kanasina Loka and Leta Manasulu. She also acted in Malayalam movies Kirtichakra with Mohanlal and Chanthupottu and Pachakuthira with Dileep. The film Veruthe Oru Bharya won her Asianet Best Actress Award of 2008.
Some of the films that she has acted are Chanthupottu, The Tiger, Ponniyin Selvan, Pachakuthira, Keerthi Chakra, Pothan Vava, Thotti Jaya, Emmtan Magan, Twenty 20, Velli Thirai, Veruthe Oru Bharya, Veerappu, Malabar Wedding, Swantham Lekhakhan, etc. She took a short break after her marriage and came back to acting and acted in the movie Swantham Lekhakan after her marriage.
She has won Asianet Best Supporting Actress Award for the film Vesham in 2004, Asianet Best Star Pair Award for the film Keerthichakra in 2006, Asianet Best Actress Award for the film Veruthe Oru Bharya in 2009 and Vanitha Film Award for Best Actress for the film Veruthe Oru Bharya in 2008.
