Gireesh Sahedev Biography

Gireesh Sahedev is a popular television actor from Delhi associated with Hindi television network. He has also played a few supporting roles in Bollywood cinema. As a television actor, he is best known for his role in serials Best of Luck Nikki, Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawal and Instant Khichdi. He is the sibling ofHindi television actors, Piyush Sahdev and Meher Vij. Both are well established actors of small screen, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev is known for playing the role of Lord Rama in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Meher is best known for playing the mother’s role in Aamir Khan starrer, Secret Superstar.

Gireesh Sahedev hails from Delhi. He has one brother and one sister. Both this siblings are established actors of small screen, and has played brief roles on big screen. Gireesh too followed the same suit, and known for his television roles. Similar to his siblings, he has also played supporting roles in Bollywood, and one south Indian film, Thuppakki. Interestingly he was also seen in its Hindi version starring Akshay Kumar, Holiday: A Soldier is Never off Duty in the role of a corrupt police inspector, where he reprised his Tamil film role. His other roles on big screen include - Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Dabangg 2 etc.

His first film screen appearance was for 2010 film, Khichdi: The Movie. Interestingly his debut television series too was Khichdi aired on Star Plus in 2003-2004, where he essayed the supporting role of Parminder. He reprised the same role in Instant Khichdi. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ardhangini - Ek Khoobsurat Jeevan Saathi, Best of Luck Nikki, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, Pehredaar Piya Ki etc are among his television roles. Currently he plays the role of Pankaj Chaudhary in Saam Daam Dand Bhed since 2017. In November 2017, his brother Piyush Sahdev was arrested for rape charges.
