Gautam Sharma is a popular actor of small screen, known for portraying mythological roles. He is also a successful model. Gautam played the title role of Dushyanta in Shakuntala, aired on Star One in 2009. Two years later he played the role of Arjun in the mythological series, Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn aired on Imagine TV. He was last seen as Bablu Patel in 2014 series aired on ZEE TV - Jamai Raja.

Gautam Sharma is a native of Bangalore, Karnataka and he was born on June 10, 1980. He entered into the entertainment world through modelling. He shifted to Mumbai in 2007 and started his career in modeling in 2009. Emami fair and Handsome, Coca cola, Orbit Chewing Gum and Dabur Chyawanprash are some of his popular TV ads. He later joined an acting school to learn more about acting. He bagged his first television role in the year 2009. He appeared as a cameo in the series, Grihasti, where he was cast opposite to one of the four lead role girls.

After that he earned fame and recognition through the portrayal of mythological but pivot roles of Hindu Mythological series like Shakuntala and Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn. With the help of some sources, he was able to grab the title role of King Dushyant for the fantasy series – Shakuntala. He knew horse riding and so he didn’t undergo any rigorous training for the show. Neha Mehta played his female lead. After that he was seen in the show, Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn, where he was introduced in the second half as Arjuna, and stays still the end of the show.
