Gautam Dutta Biography 
Gautam Dutta, born and brought up in Delhi is CEO of PVR Cinemas the Indian Entertainment companyn since 2006. He had his schooling at Springdales Schools up to Senior Secondary level and he graduated from Delhi University. He is Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business/Corporate Communications of 1988-1991 batch.
Gautam as CEO of PVR Limited which is the largest chain of cinemas in India with 105 cinemas having 467 screens spread over 43 cities of the country. Gautam has been successfully doing the job in the company to ensure the overall quality, service and cost-effective management and smooth operations of resources for over nine years now. He has been instrumental in taking forward the mission of the company. Gautam has successfully looked after all the aspects including the organization and how to maximize the revenue, profitability and growth of the organization. Gautam has the rare capacity to who is deeply committed and extremely focused on getting results.
Under his able guedance PVR has become the most revenue gainer that comes from Hollywood and Bollywood movies collections in India while in global terms it will amount to maximum cinema occupancy along with other activities including food sales ratio and revenue per seat. Gautam has brought PVR from Rs. 7 crores to Rs. 200 crores within the last 9 years and has converted PVR among the top 100 brands in the country.
Gautam Dutta has worked with Lowe Lintas brand services from April 1995 to November 2003 as senior director and was managing their client interface besides planning on strategic and thinking process. He managed accounts like LG Electronics, Hughes Software Systems Modi Xerox, Woodland, Chambal Fertilisers, Flextronics India, Yak and Yeti Hotels & Resorts, Siemens Telecom and Bank of America.
He has worked for As Vice President (Brand Services) and Branch Head, Delhi of Rediffusion from 2003 to 2006, where he led teams and planned the serviced for the companies like DLF, Airtel, Xerox, TDI, Xerox, Wonder Marble and GPI. His hobbies include reading and watching movies.
