Farhad Shahnawaz Biography

Farhad Shahnawaz is a successful Indian male model, who is also known as an actor and dancer. He regularly appears in Hindi television shows, and is best known for playing Rammy in the daily soap, Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki, aired on Colors TV. He made his Telugu cinema debut with the film Relax released in 2005, and has appeared in a few more films, though he remained unsuccessful in his film career. He was seen in a supporting role in 2015 Telugu action musical film, Rey. Farhad Shahnawaz has excelled in his dancing skills, and has won the very popular dance show on Sony television, Boogie Woogie.

Farhad Shahnawaz was born on 28 September 1980 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. His father retired from merchant navy and he has two elder siblings. He began by winning Boogie- Woogie way back in 1994 as a teenager and started his career in modelling in the early 2000s. He walked the ramp for Lakme fashion week from 2004 to 2009, and remained a hot male model during this period. He got rave reviews for his participation in the Gladrags Manhunt contest in 2004. He was the "Show stopper" for Sabyasachi Mukherjee in Lakme Fashion Week in 2008.

A very successful ramp model, he has worked with all leading designers of the industry during the same period of whom some of the leading names include Rohit Bal, J. J. Vallaya etc. He has also endorsed many products, and remained ambassador for many leading Indian brands. He acted in Telugu movies – Style, Rey, Relax etc. Though he began his career as a dancer, he slowed down due to a neck injury, and after that he pursued acting and modelling.
