Faisal Khan (dancer) Biography

Faisal Khan is a popular child dancer and actor on Indian mini screen. He has participated in numerous dancing reality shows as a teenager and won several competitions as well. He participated in the second season of dance reality show Dance India Dance Li'l Masters at the age of 13, where he emerged as the winner. In 2015, he won the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Dance Ke Superkids and DID Dance Ka Tashan are other dancing shows in which he competed. He made his acting debut as a child artist through historical drama series Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, which was his real breakthrough. Later he appeared in Bhanwar - Kalyug Ki Hairatangez Kahaniyaa and CID.

Faisal is a Maharastrian born in Mumbai in 1999. He was born into a middle class family and his father was an auto rickshaw driver. He learnt freestyle dance from Shrikanth Ahire and did schooling from Meera Academy School in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. As a reality show contestant he began his career at the age of 13. He gave auditions for second season of dance reality show Dance India Dance Li'l Masters and won the trophy as well. He won a cash prize of 10 lakh rupees. The reality show gave him enough popularity and since then he regularly participates in reality dance shows and contests.

He team-up with Raghav Juyal, Kruti Mahesh and Prince Gupta in the "Yahoo" team for Dance Ke Superkids and won the season. He made his acting debut, playing the childhood role of Maharana Pratap in the historic series, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap for which received two Best Child Actor awards at Indian Television Academy Awards and Indian Telly Awards. In August 2015, he won the 8^th season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa aside Vaishnavi Patil and choreographer Vivek. He is the youngest winner of this series till now. Khan appeared in a Marathi film Prem Kahani.
